Justice Accelerator

The Justice Accelerator is HiiL’s flagship innovation programme that funds, trains and scales a global cohort of justice startups each year. Since 2011 we have supported over 110 startups world-wide.

Justice Accelerator in Ukraine

2016 was the commencement year for the Innovating Justice Challenge in Ukraine. Since then, we have received over 220 applications, 13 of those teams received grants from HiiL totaling over 220 000 euros. 

Six teams traveled to the Justice Entrepreneurship School in The Hague and presented their projects on the Peace Palace, the stage of the Innovating Justice Forum. Among the program’s famous alumni are AXDRAFT, Patentbot, OpenDatabot, Pravoman, Vkursi, Airlaw, and others.

What we offer

Selected innovators will gain knowledge in business modeling, lean startup, financial planning, communication and marketing strategies development. Also, specialized mentors from the business, public and public sectors will work with the teams.

After the completion of the program, the teams will present their ideas to the public. The best projects will be able to participate in the global acceleration program, receive a grant to develop their product, access to a network of mentors and potential funding in the future.

Apply with your startup

If you are building a Ukrainian innovation that prevents or resolves legal problems of people or micro, small and medium enterprises, then you’re welcome to learn more and apply to the Innovating Justice Challenge. We plan to open the next call for applications in spring 2022.
